Winner of the award for Outstanding Performance By a Female Actor in a Supporting Role for The Danish Girl, Alicia Vikander wowed in a beautiful sequin gown by Louis Vuitton on the night which had a wonderful hippie flair.

Queen Latifah

Winner of Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie for Bessie, Queen Latifah looked stunning in a gothic-style black sequin gown.

Kristen Wiig

Dressed in Roland Mouret, Kristen Wiig looked amazing on the night.

The 56th Grammy Awards took place recently and were presented by the very cool LL Cool J and the show was opened by Beyonce unleashing her Sasha Fierce side as she performed with Jay Z singing “Drunk in Love”. One of the highlights. It was amazing. Their such a sweet couple too.

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis won four awards and performed with Mary Lambert Same Love which was the highlight of the show when numerous couples, both gay and straight, got married and Madonna came on to sing a bit of Open Your Heart too and Queen Latifah spoke. I seen one of the lads crying with happiness that got married. The whole thing was so sweet. Congratulations to all the couples who got married.

Another highlight was Pink and Nate Ruess. Pink came down doing acrobatics before dancing with a hot man. Lucky old Pink and then followed that up by singing with the beautiful Nate Reuss. Oh Pink, I’m jealous! Totally jealous! And totally in admiration on every score!

Ringo Starr sang solo and also with Paul McCartney. The Beatles were one of the acts that won a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Lorde won song of the year for Royals and she also performed the song at the ceremony while Carole King and Sara Bareilles dueted together before presenting that award.

The very handsome Neil Patrick Harris introduced Daft Punk’s performance with Pharrell Williams, Nile Rodgers and Stevie Wonder which got everyone up on their feet. Beyonce was grooving.

Bruno Mars, Pharrell Williams, Anna Kendrick and Jared Leto were also on presenting duties. Leto paid tribute to Lou Reed and presented Metallica for their performance of “One”.

Rap/sung collaboration: “Holy Grail,” Jay Z with Justin Timberlake.

Rock song: “Cut Me Some Slack,” Paul McCartney, Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear.

Traditional pop vocal album: “To Be Loved,” Michael Buble.

Rap performance: “Thrift Shop,” Macklemore & Ryan Lewis featuring Wanz.
