About

I’m just an ordinary Irish guy who takes an interest in various aspects of life. What I aim to do is write a weekly blog for guys and gals out there with the same interests as myself that hopefully you will all enjoy. This website is going to include items of interest from the past, present and things that will be happening in the future from various areas of the creative world: TV, film, music, art, plays, musicals, books, fashion, beauty and hair. I will also talk about the gorgeous people that make these worlds all the more fab. Hope you enjoy! x

Fine. I actually never said anything about your blog. I just don’t post pics like what you were saying of myself on my own blog or anywhere. I’ve unliked and good luck with your blog and the gym. 🙂

  6. Thank you for stopping by my blog and I look forward to sharing your interests. Ireland is so beautiful, would love to take a trip there someday. 🙂

  7. Hi Lisa I just want to say, thank you for supporting shy people. All through my childhood, and into my early twenties, I struggled with shyness. I’ve come a long ways, but sometimes the shy bug still bites. Anyhow, its nice to hear about somebody supporting shyness because us shy people can be so misunderstood. People can be so mean. So I just want to say, thanks for being nice.

    Great blog!

  17. Hi! I was looking for you on FB or Twitter, but I couldn’t find you for some reason… just read your book and wanted to share the review before I submitted it.

  18. Hi. How are you? I am doing well. I’m beginning to plan out my summer reads, and I want to read another book from you. Is there one in particular you’d prefer I read / review right now, or did you have something coming out soon that I should hold off a bit longer for? No pressure either! I will happily choose if you prefer not to be the one to pick. LOL Feel free to message me offline too!

Hi James. Good to hear you are doing well. Doing very well too thankfully. I am writing a book at the moment called After The Fishing Trip, also doing a little bit of the next Rory Murphy book but more concentrating on the former at the moment. It was meant to be out very soon but with other commitments and trying to get it perfect it probably won’t be out for a good while yet. I could send you a free reviewers copy when it’s finished if you’d like. It’s based on a Friday Fictioneers prompt I did a while back: https://culturevultureexpress.wordpress.com/2018/11/25/friday-fictioneers-fishing-trip/ In the meantime it would be wonderful to hear your thoughts about maybe the first book from my One Step Closer series or my romance book Love Is A Battlefield. They are the longer books I’ve written but any book that you’re interested to read and would like to review, feel free to disregard my suggestions, I won’t be offended. 🙂 And thank you once again for taking an interest in my work. That is very, very much appreciated. 🙂

    Hi Lisa,
I was just about to send Chris an email when I saw you did a blog on his book series A Postcard from Neo Tokyo. I am currently contracted with RockHill Publishing to produce a new cyberpunk novel late June this year. In respect for your webspace, I won’t pitch the project here, but if you are interested in doing a review or interview you can find more info and my contact at https://www.markeverglade.com

    • lisarey1990 says:

Thank you Mark. I have contacted you via e-mail but I never used the Outlook e-mail format before so if it doesn’t arrive, feel free to contact me here again. I would love to read & review your book & interview you after that if that suited you. Thanks for your message. 🙂
