Dolly the dog who was found at this year’s Glastonbury event has been reunited with her owners. Singer Dolly Parton, who was set to adopt the darling dog, said that she was happy to see Dolly been reunited with her owners by the Happy Landings Animal Shelter but admitted that part of her had been “looking forward” to having Dolly in her life.
“We got a call from the main people with the government and they told us that the true owners did come forward. There was a language barrier; I think they were from another country. They got the dog back so I don’t get to take her home. I was looking forward to it.”
Good luck to Dolly and her owners. 🙂
Dolly Parton is set to give a home to a dog who was rescued at Glastonbury this year.
Parton has said that she will adopt the adorable white lurcher who is also called Dolly who was found alone and abandoned in a tent following the festival. The country singing legend, 68, said on Twitter,
“Heard about the abandoned dog at @GlastoFest? If nobody claims her, I’ll take her home to America! Ain’t she cute :)”
She sure is Dolly! So happy she is getting a good home! 🙂
