The 1 Year Book Club/Challenge! Wanna Join? :-)

Hello everyone and welcome to the 1 year book club/challenge. I am your host Lisa Reynolds from Culture Vulture Express. The challenge if you choose to join is to read the following classic books in a year. I am taking on this challenge myself and am hoping you will join in the fun. If none of us complete it, it doesn’t matter. Maybe we’ll get a bit more intellectual literary-wise on the way. Obviously life gets in the way and there is other equally fabulous non-classic books to read and review too. So no pressure but it might be fun to dive into these titles too. I decided to set up this book club because even though I have read a lot of books, the number of classics I have read is not as many as I’d like it to be and I find that sad because there’s a lot of great books out there that I haven’t explored and I’d like to. So if you feel the same or have other reasons for wanting to grow your classic books reading I hope you will join me in this marathon/mid-year resolution and read and review as many of these books from the 9th of this year to the 9th of next year so that gives you a day to download all these books which are free on the internet. Drop me a comment in the comments section to let me know if you’re joining the book club and do send me a link when you post reviews of any of these books as I would love to read and reblog each review. Thanks and happy reading! 🙂

Without further ado, the twenty classic books are as follows (Feel free to read them in any order you wish :-)):

1. The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain
