The writing genius that is David Mitchell!
Yesterday was the 45th birthday of one of my fave novelists, the amazing David Mitchell.
Mitchell wrote the incredible Cloud Atlas, a masterpiece of work really and therefore is the writing genius behind Rufus Sixsmith and Robert Frobisher. Cloud Atlas was recently made into a film with an all-star cast featuring Ben Whishaw, James D’Arcy, Jim Sturgess, Halle Berry, Tom Hanks, Hugh Grant, Hugo Weaving, Bae Donna, Jim Broadbent and Susan Sarandon.
He has also wrote number9dream, Black Swan Green and Ghostwritten amongst his output of work. His sixth novel, The Bone Clocks is set for release on September 4th this year.
Mitchell has lived in Italy, Japan and Ireland and currently lives with his wife Keiko Yoshida and their two children in Cork’s Clonakilty in Ireland.
