Poem: Spring Clean

You are cluttering my mind

and I need a spring clean,

you don’t care about me

but I care about me,

you are creating chaos in my mind

and I need to get it to rest,

you make me indecisive

and second-guess,

you make me have to keep the peace

because the hassle is too much to take,

I don’t need to be the keeper of the peace all the time,

no one is paying me to,

you are pressuring me to,

this is going to end.

πŸ’œ This is a beautiful poem EveryOne, it’s cadence, meter, structure, style and rhythm is spot on; however the message also absolves the poet of any accountability and responsibility of Their Contribution to Their Misery and the poet Blames Others, Finding Fault with EveryBody Else other (pun definitely intended) than ThemSelves!!!

Thank you for your comment. I’m so happy those things are spot on because some of them I struggle with sometimes tbh. And I’m really delighted you seen the message of the poem because I think a lot of people blame themselves when they face gaslighting and mind games and I definitely wanted to put that across that people aren’t at blame in those situations and how damaging it can be for someone and how it’s a struggle to undo that damage and be confident and be happy despite the situation. So thank you very much. πŸ™‚
