5 Videos To Watch This Week On YouTube!

Hi everybody! đź™‚

Here is my five suggestions this week.

Social Issues

Firstly we have episode 24 in the Black American History series from Crash Course with Clint Smith. In this episode Clint speaks about the Great Migration where many black people moved from the south in the US to the north in the US. Really informative and well put together.

Next up is episode 25 in the Black American History series from Crash Course with Clint Smith. In this episode Clint speaks about the Red Summer, the 1918 Dyer Anti-Lynching Bill, James Weldon Johnson, Billie Holiday and W.E.B. Du Bois. Clint discusses the very sad death of 17-year-old Eugene Williams who was killed after accidentally drifting into the ‘whites only’ section of Lake Michigan. A white man threw rocks at him. Clint also discusses the violence and discrimination which black people faced and how the law was never there to bring white mobs and violent white individuals to justice. Disgraceful. As always a really informative episode.

TV

Thirdly here is all the dances from week 7 of Strictly Come Dancing in the UK. In this episode there is as always many great dances including AJ and Kai’s energetic and excellent Charleston to Dont Bring Lulu by Dorothy Provine ft. Pinky and The Girls, John and Johannes’ romantic and hypnotic Rumba to Shape of My Heart by Sting, Rhys and Nancy’s high-energy and great Quickstep to What a Man Gotta Do by Jonas Brothers and Tom and Amy’s great and strong Paso Doble to Amparito Roca by Jaime Texidor. Really enjoyable.

Next up we have the ninth RuPaul’s Drag Race Compilation from Mikeekee. Another enjoyable compilation.

Art/Relaxation

Finally here is episode 3 from season 1 of Bob Ross’ The Joy Of Painting where Bob is teaching us to paint an ebony sunset. In this episode Bob is teaching us all how to paint on a black canvas for the first time. Very relaxing and fun.
