Hi everybody! 🙂
Here is my five suggestions for this week.
Firstly is episode 17 in the amazing Black American History series from Crash Course with Clint Smith. In this episode Clint talks about the life and work of the amazing abolitionist and writer Frederick Douglass and his equally amazing wife Anna Murray. Their story is very beautiful and interesting. Brilliant episode.
Remembering Those Who Lost Their Lives On September 11th 2001
On the 11th of September it was twenty years since the September 11th tragedy and on OWN’S channel they put up the segment from The Oprah Winfrey Show from 2001 after the tragedy took place. It was really sad and it brought me back to the deep sadness we all felt in the aftermath. May all those people who lost their lives twenty years ago continue to rest in peace and my thoughts continue to be with all their loved ones.
This excellent video from Psyche2Go speaks about four types of OCD and what they mean. It was very interesting and helpful and it really helped me a lot.
This is part two in Mikeekee’s RuPaul’s Drag Race compilations. As always a lot of fun and well put together.
To end today here is Tom Walker’s Leave a Light On. It is such a beautiful song about struggling with drug addiction and fighting to get your life back on track. The music video is very emotive and really tells the story of the song very well.
