How fast they grow up, thought Laura. She remembered when her daughter Anna used to dress up as Xena Warrior Princess who was all the rage back when she was a child. She was thankful that Anna still had that warrior spirit. In the world she needed to have that. For Laura her own fight would need to be strong too with her recent cancer diagnosis. She hoped she could find the warrior inside her. It didn’t feel easy to do that and she didn’t feel strong enough yet to tell Anna. She knew she had to … Laura sighed.
