Searching

Eddie waited for so long to be allowed to dig up this area. Below the surface were the letters Sonia hid from the world so that one day he would find them. Her love letters to Eddie, the man she loved but who was married to Mary. Divorce had not been an option in their day but today with both the women in his life long gone he would retrieve these tokens from the woman he always loved and would not be hurting his best friend Mary in the process. His shovel hit a box. Tears came to his eyes.
