One Of These Days
Paul looked up from his book as he sat on his deckchair. He smiled as he watched Maria and Rosa, the couple had met the other day get married. It was all so beautifully romantic and a tear came to his eye. A tear he would never admit to. Men don’t cry and all that jazz.
He wondered if someday he could meet Miss. Right and have a wedding just as sweet. It was so far off for him as a successful CEO of a computer company. It was hard to meet a woman who would be willing to understand his schedule.
He lay back and daydreamed about this unknown woman who could do the impossible and complete him. Among the beauty of the beach, his thoughts were blissful. He allowed himself to get in touch with feelings unfamiliar to him: those of the heart as opposed to the brain.
