Poem: Rivers

The small fish lived in the little pond,
After many years she and her mother swam on.
The river was slightly bigger,
A few hundred fish were present.
Such is life she became acquaintances with them all,
Friends with one.
When she swam to a third lake,
She met a few thousand fish.
Such is life she became acquaintances with half,
Real friends with a few
And special friends to one
Until that fish swam to another river
And met another special friend.
So she swam to another lake and another
And another
Until she found her most special friend
And that fish never wanted to swim away.
